The Sibasa Box Clutch Bag is inspired by a place called Sibasa, not too far from Thohoyandou in Venda, Limpopo province. Thohoyandou literally translates to “head of the elephant” in the TshiVenda language. The Sibasa Box Clutch Bag features stripes that are very prominent in Nwenda, a traditional attire worn by VhaVenda people. Sibasa is a beautiful place full of rich vegetation, a myriad of juicy fruits, colourful people and a beautiful celebration of culture. This clutch bag seeks to celebrate all that splendour.
