Neck pieces in the the Opal Series are inspired by the Ethiopian Opal Gemstone.  The series was inspired by the darkness of the opal gemstone and the way its spectacular play-of-colour glistens in a variety of patterns throughout the stone. The neck pieces in the Opal Series follow this trend of splashes of colourful patterns on a black background and these patterns of colour are attained through the use of colourful fabric on the neck piece.
